DYON 06 - Ichijiki Sara

Submisson to the ~narutofanclub's bi-annual create-a-nin. First time since like... 2004, dood.

Name: Ichijiki Sara (Surname first)
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Rank: Jounin
Family History: Part of a family of career-nins- everyone is in some field, whether it's Academy, ANBU, medic,etc.- and the fourth oldest among eight children, Sara cruised through a normal (If crowded) childhood.

However, what sets the Ichijiki family apart, aside from the sheer amount of them, is a technique/seal combination called Dai Ni Kaze (Second Wind).

At some point in the family history, a technique was developed that enabled one to have an extra burst of stamina in a fight in order to either run or to convert to Chakra to finish a fight. The problem was that if one had to resort to that technique, one probably didn't have enough energy to activate the technique. In other words it was moot point since using the technique would kill you anyway.

To fix that little problem the Ichijiki family developed a seal in tandem to the technique. At birth, members of the family recieve a seal on their right shoulder blade that would store extra energy for use with the Dai Ni Kaze technique. Or at least in theory.

Unfortuneatly, the Ichijikis were never good at making super efficient seals (It's a half-assed seal in other words), if the energy stored in the seal isn't used within a certain timeframe (Usually 4-5 hours), the energy is wasted and the seal begins to drains energy from the person, thus weakening them. In short the seal has resulted in some strange side effects. For starters, Ichijiki members must eat frequently and/or extremely large amounts of food to make sure the seal doesn't go bad.

Somehow, this all reaches an equibrium in the body, don't ask how, the Ichijikis aren't sure themselves.

As of recent, due to many hours of research and trial-and-error, Sara can make the seal time limit last a good 6-8 hours now, though the seal is far from complete.

Personality: Generaly a good natured person, slightly-laid back and quite accepting of most. This is usually. Has a cheeky sense of humor that can quickly turn into sarcasm if irritated. Like many Rainnin, has the stereotypical "Rain-nin Temper" at times and when angered will persist on arguing with/pursuing the offending party. Slightly touchy on the subjects of her eye, missing nin from Rain, and Skie Iilsur. Sometimes has the tact of a sledgehammer.

Personal Bio:
Besides missions, Sara often just meandered the village and such. For the most part a normal life with nothing spectacular happening. However, a year ago, due to a mission gone awry- to be specific, pursuit of the missing nin Iilsur Skie- Sara totally lost the function of her right eye after which she killed the offending missing nin. Apparently her general disdain for missing nins has escalated to a deep hatred of their ilk is a result of the encounter as well.

In any event, afterwards she started training harder and was quite surprised when a year after the incident she was promoted to Jounin as well as being made a facilitator of the first part of the recent Chuunin exams. Unfortunately, prior to her stint as a facilitator, she ran into the now resurrected Iilsur Skie and has since vowed to kill him once again. After the Chuunin exams, Sara was also involved in a mission to track down two missing genin from Mist. However, in a plan laid out by the pair and Sara during the confrontation, the two missing nin faked their deaths and later defected to Rain. As to the effects of this all, it remains to be seen.

Socially on the other hand, she's somewhat more happier. Though ironically she's currently involved with one Iilsur Saryl, elder brother of the nin she wants to kill so desperately. While Saryl too has no love for his brother, it is often he that manages to calm the eyepatched Jounin. Other than the little irritation that is Iilsur Skie though, life is good for the young Jounin.

Weapons of Choice:
-Standard ninja gear
-Weapon summoning scroll (Like TenTen)
-A morning-star like weapon; Consists of a handle with a hidden knife in the sheath, and a long, strong chain that is attatched to a three-pronged metal ball. Like a morning-star is primarily swung by the user. Can be wielded with one or two hands. What makes this weapon unique is that it is extremely heavy, and while most people could only lift it up by the handle with two hands, Sara can lift it with one, certainly a testament to Sara's bizarre strength.
-If all of the above fail, whatever's available at the time (From broomsticks to potatoes).

Jutsus:
Besides the standard ninja jutsus, and Rain-village specific jutsu (ie:Jouro Senbon) the following are unique to Sara's repitore

Kagi no Jutsu (Key Skill) (Non-combat)　-　Sara's own technique. A glorified name for lockpicking/lockpicking with Chakra.

Kusarinohebi (Chain Snake) - Sara infuses her weapon with chakra and directs it so when swung, it can lash back, allowing still several more chances for the weapon to connect. Because it doesn't rely on her speed, but rather her reflexes, it's quite effective. However, it does drain some degree of chakra.

Daini Kaze (Second Wind) - While it can be activated in battle manually, it's more of a trump card and is almost exclusively used as a last resort. *See History*

Likes:Eating, food, the color teal, cooking, children (To an extent, after they hit the tweens they "become little terrors.") climbing, swimming, interesting things, good-natured teasing, Iilsur Saryl, and oddly enough, playing the violin.

Dislikes:Being hungry, not getting jutsu right, loud explosions, the color grey, liver, people who think they're better than everyone else, bees, Iilsur Skie, feeling not up to par with her peers, missing nin from Rain in general, people who make light of Rain

Future dreams, hopes, and goals: Just to survive her career as a nin, maybe get promoted to ANBU, get married, the usual really. And to finally kill Skie Iilsur once and for all. That's..Not quite as usual.

Any Extra Information:
-Don't let the fact that she relies on brawn in combat fool you, she's a fairly intelligent mind as well.
-A few members of the Ichijiki family have orange-yellow eyes. While many speculate it's a long useless Bloodline, in reality it's an odd genetic quirk.
-Aside from what you can see, Sara stores a secret cache of Shriukens, Kunais,etc. on her belt sash.
-Very dirty fighter. Will try to use anything to her advantage.
-While she's not adverse to a fight or an arguement, if she's irritated enough to not want to participate, she has been known to use her chakra and climb on the nearest available roof or ceiling and sulk.
-What's interesting to note is that Sara has some amount of freakish strength. While it isn't at Tsunade/Sakura level, it is rather frightening. From a standing position (That is, no running involved at all), Sara can punch through up to approximately 3-3 1/2 inches worth of concrete. Otherwise she does put a rather prominent dent. Purely without using chakra. This isn't to say that she does it all the time, nor that it doesn't hurt. It's just a weird little quirk.
